Hi,
I was some random person on OHG and wanted to see what all you guys were up to. I had some trouble with creating a new topic, I kept clicking the button and nothing would happen. Anyways here’s a bit about me : I like Gaming(of course), I spend some free time studying and writing stuff with JavaScript, still pretty amateurish, but I’m learning. I prefer working with CSS more as I like designing themes and stuff. Oooh I also like Cats, annoying people, aaaand…red stuff.
How much banging goes one here ?

Sorry about the bugs, the forum software we use is pretty new so there will be some issues from time to time.
We could use your skills for a theme here and some plugins ;)

@Almost I started getting into it around the middle of 2013. I was using Forumotion because I had no idea what I was doing, so I then began looking up HTML and CSS so I could do something with the forums. After awhile I started helping out on their support, it’s pretty much what made me want to learn more so I could assist people. They had a pretty interesting service with the ability to share themes, though they restrict access to the database. I haven’t published a theme in quite awhile so these are some of the old ones I made for Forumotion anyways : http://en.hitskin.com/users/ange-tuteur/249960/version
I know a lot more about HTML and CSS than when I made those, I can spot mistakes on quite a few. xD The latest one that I had designed was a redesign of one of my older themes. I didn’t upload to there, but it’s on one of the forums I use to post random snippets for Forumotion. http://fmdesign.forumotion.com/forum
I didn’t get into understanding JavaScript until about the end of 2013, since then I’ve taken more interest in it, and trying to use it more than I used jQuery. In fact I took up a little project when I was without internet and home just to keep myself busy until I found a new place. I basically wrote a little browser game just for the heck of it, so I could practice using JavaScript. I put it on here for now : http://themedesign.forumotion.com/h2-dom-blast-b
I consider myself an amateur since I have a lot to learn still. Graphically speaking I am not that great, coding wise, maybe. :P

We’re also still looking into different platforms/languages we’re going to write fapng in, but it’s probably going to be Node.js, so Javascript knowledge would be useful ;)For design, I can spot a couple design mistakes on your forumotion theme but it still looks nice! (We should have a thread here with some “showcases” I suppose.)

@theDaftDev Thanks, I’m having too much fun playing around with that. When I can’t think of anything more to do I seriously have to attempt a side scroller. However I’ll have to work on that forum’s theme first since I’ll be using it to hold my DOM Games for now.

I’m coding a C++ shoot’em up, so if ever you need any help into games making, I might be able to assist ;) . -
@theDaftDev I’ll have to get into C++ one of these days. For now I want to push the browsers and see what I can do with HTML and JavaScript. CSS is last priority for graphics, just going with simple designs for now. I’d love to see your game when it’s ready. :)

@theDaftDev I actually didn’t know this as well :P IIRC you were the one who at one point started making a whole bunch of codes for a couple PSP games, right?
