Color of the forum

###Please don’t lookup the color
The point is to see how you personally classify it, not what google, some web designer, or an html color palette says it is.If you had to classify the “warm color” (trying not to bait anyone here) of this forum, would you call it orange or red?
This is mostly just to get a feel for peoples thoughts. No real point.

I’m not saying this cause I can’t say which it is in one eye it’s red In other it’s orange. But my brother says it’s red so red I guess

Yes, I understand that it’s l on the boundary, which is why this conversation works at all. My question is, how would you refer to this color in casual conversion? One where you didn’t want to get into “well it’s more of a red-orange… blood orange, maybe? I guess you could call it vermilion”

I’d say Firebrick is pretty close. Firebrick = #b22

to light to be bloody…though its proper hue just needs to be more…darker toned

Definelty looks red to me… Though it might depend on our screens, don’t you think ? -
It does kinda look orange up close, but red from far away… @Lyeta is right, it isn’t dark enough for blood, maybe Fire or Lava.

@Schamper Yeah, this thread shows who has their monitor correctly calibrated and who has their monitor calibrated so that red shows up as orange :P

Color blind so doesn’t help me to calibrate it

My monitor is stock settings, maybe I should try and calibrate to see if it actually is red. It does look the same on my work monitors though.
