I do like my ChromeCast. It would seem kinda pointless if the Android TV takes over though.
Why would you want to cast things when you are not near the TV though?

As i said in the shoutbox yesterday, the battery life would be my only issue. It’s nothing major as i can just charge it over night.

It does look pretty slick though.

Do those Heads Up notifications pause the game or do they keep the game running in the background. I know if i get a call from someone while playing a game, the game will usually pause and then resume once the call has ended.

Is this just UI over their apps and their default Android? Or they going to force this on the manufacturers such as HTC who have their own UI?

I managed to slip BitBangers into the NodeBB post over at Hacker News yesterday. This was mainly to show them that there was other themes and layouts available. Most of the comments in the thread seemed to be about the layout of their home page.

We got a nice traffic spike from it too :D

We didn’t suffer a DDoS like some of the websites do when posted on HN or Reddit but it was nice to get some hits.
Lets hope some of the visitors pop back and register.
