The Steam Summer Sale has been on for a couple days now. What purchase have you made during this time?
Are you hoping for any games to come on sale?

I bought series 2 of The Walking Dead. There aren’t many other games that i want, i may get The Wold Among Us though as I am quite a fan of TellTale Games.

If there are some decent multiplayer games that are on sale we should all purchase them for some game nights.

So are you actually up for it?

Dont get disheartened by the first game, it can get quite tedious at times.

I think we are mainly PC gamers here, some of us have consoles but I think they are mainly last generation. Playstation 3s and Xbox 360s.

290 is £300+ I have never had an nvidia card and never had issues with AMD. I’ll compare some prices.

I think I may have sold it to my mate for like £200 ahah

This thread is mainly for @1UP but some of you may be able to help out too.

What would you recommend for a graphics card? Currently I am using an old that is really starting to struggle now.
I am looking at an R9 290 or something in that range.

Is AMD good to go for or is NVIDIA the best at the moment? If NVidia then what model would you suggest?

Hey guys,

I have made some changes to forums. The main changes you may notices is the global sidebar to the right. Currently this is how I want it for the main forum page but I do not want the global sidebar to show the widgets inside a category as they conflict with the category sidebar widgets. This makes the forum look pretty messy. I have asked on the community forums for NodeBB to see if I can add a forum sidebar that will only display on the forum and not globally. Hopefully I will get a reply soon and I can then tidy things up a bit.

I have also changed the width of the forums to accommodate for the sidebars. Previously the forum was very thin when there was a global sidebar and looked kinda odd. I have now made it wider to fill out the screen a bit more, is it wide enough? Too wide? Let me know and I can make a few quick changes to make it perfect.

You may also notice the Live Streams link in the header. This is a new custom page where we can add all our members live streams, currently there is only my stream on the page and I will be adding @Leo’s and @1UP’s soon.
Because these streams are on a different page I wanted to be able to let our members know when a stream goes live. I found this wonderful website that generates a status image for various live stream websites; I have embedded these images into a widget that is displayed on the global sidebar. So now, when one of our streamers goes live, you guys wont have an excuse to not check out their stream!

I would love to hear your feedback on these recent changes.

I thought i put the specks in the first post, my bad.

@GoaNy That seems like a huge waste.
@1UP I was thinking about that but that seems to waste the processing power of the i7 and the 12GB or ram.

It’s basically a full PC without a heat sink at the moment. It was water cooled but the pump seemed pretty fucked.

Since we are going to be playing some Battlefield 3 together I think it is time we shared our Origin IDs so we can add each other as friends.
